Activating Channels on Dialog Television

Looking for an extra channel, now activating an additional channel on your Dialog TV is easy as simple. No need to contact a Customer Service agent or visit an outlet to get this done. Here you need a phone that enabled with the SMS facility (Most of the service providers and phones offer this service except the old land phones).

Now get to the business

 Activation Method

ON<space>YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER<space>CHANNEL NO (channel number should be entered without leading any zeros)

Deactivatig the channel

OFF<space>YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER<space>CHANNEL NO ((channel number should be entered without leading any zeros)

For example:  Assume that  we are going to activate channel no 14 Ten cricket

                       ON 123456 14 sent to 679

***Dialog mobile subscribers should send the above message to 679  &  others need to send the test to 0777679679 (standard SMS charges will apply depends on the operator)

#: To get the channel number Press the OK button on the remote and it  can be found right in front of the channel name

(Make sure the channels are in order according to line up assigned by Dialog, if not PERFORM A RESCAN to get the original channel line up)

#:Make sure to type the channel number without leading any zeros, if you need to type the  channel number for ESPN it should come as 8 not 08 or 008.

#: A notification will be received to your TV,  once the SMS sent

#: Activated channel(s) is subject to auto renewal.

Channels enabled  from SMS will be activated for life time and  available until you deactivate. Once you send the command to deactivate the channel it will be deactivated by the end of the 30th day (the date until you have been charged). Refer the below example to make it clear

Example: If the channel is activated on 03rd February 2011 the auto renewal will be done on the 02nd of March 2011. So if the deactivation message is send before 02nd March, it will only be discontinued on 02rn March since the charging is done  until 02nd March. So if you want to keep the channel for one month , deactivate it  before the end of 30th day.

#: HBO bouquet  is not available as single channel, all the HBO channels will enabled even if you activate one of them.

#: Monthly Rental will apply on your bill depends on the channel activated (Refer below for available channels and charges)
